Italy to host Iran short film package

A pack of five Iranian short films is set to screen in Italian capital city of Rome in concurrent with Iran theatrical release .

The artistic director of Orizzonti dell'Iran (Horizons of Iran) short fest in Italy said the Europe tour for these titles start from Italy and Orizzonti dell’Iran fest on August 9, 2018.

Iranian director Arash Abbasi also said the line-up to amaze the Italian audience includes Atefeh Mehrabi’s ‘#4 O’Clock’, Ali Khoshdoni Farahani’s ‘The Periodicity’, Farnoush Samadi and Ali Asgari’s ‘Silence’, Saeed Nejati’s ‘It Rains Slowly’ and Dornaz Hajiha’s ‘Marlon’.

The titles will be screened at Art & Experience cinematic group in Iran concurrently.

Orizzonti dell'Iran is organized in partnership with Iran and Italy agents. The event will feature prominent films in the most recent Iranian cinema.

The festival is scheduled to be held on August 8-9 at Palazzo Merulana in Rome.
